Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and deploy full-stack web applications using.NET framework, C#, JavaScript, and related technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs to facilitate smooth communication between front-end interfaces and back-end services.
- Optimize application performance by writing efficient SQL queries, managing database schemas in MySQL or SQL Server, and integrating with cloud services such as AWS or Azure.
- Maintain version control using tools like GitHub, SVN, and Git; participate in code reviews to uphold quality standards.
- Implement front-end features utilizing modern JavaScript frameworks while ensuring responsive design principles are followed.
- Work within Agile development methodologies to deliver iterative improvements rapidly and efficiently.
- Ensure application security best practices are followed, including secure API integrations and data protection measures.
- Troubleshoot issues across the entire stack—front-end, back-end, database—and resolve bugs promptly.
- Contribute to continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for streamlined releases.
Experience
- Proven experience in full-stack application development using.NET technologies (.NET Core or Framework), C#, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Strong understanding of web development principles including REST APIs, AJAX, JSON, and front-end framework React is highly desirable.
- Hands-on experience working with SQL databases like MySQL or SQL Server; familiarity with database design and optimization techniques.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms Azure and Azure bus for deploying scalable applications is a plus.
- Experience with version control systems including GitHub, Git, SVN for collaborative development workflows.
- Familiarity with application development in Linux environments is advantageous.
- Ability to work within Agile teams using methodologies like Scrum or Kanban for rapid delivery cycles.
- Exposure to other programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, Ruby on Rails or VBA is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Strong experience using AI-powered coding assistants to accelerate software development, including tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, or equivalent AI coding tools.
- Demonstrated ability to use AI to generate, refactor, debug, optimize, and document production-quality code while maintaining engineering quality and security standards.
- Experience using AI to accelerate development across the full stack, including:
- C# / .NET / Core Web API
- React / TypeScript / JavaScript
- SQL / Entity Framework Core
- REST APIs and microservices
- Unit and integration testing
- Azure services and CI/CD
- Ability to write effective prompts/instructions for AI coding tools and provide sufficient context such as requirements, architecture, existing code and coding standards.
- Experience using AI tools for multi-file and feature-level code generation, rather than relying only on autocomplete.
- Strong ability to review, validate, test, debug and improve AI-generated code before it is committed to production.
- Understanding of the limitations of AI-generated code, including security vulnerabilities, hallucinated APIs, performance issues, incorrect business logic and maintainability concerns.
- Experience incorporating AI-assisted development into Git/GitHub pull-request and code-review workflows.
- Ability to use AI to generate unit tests, API documentation, SQL queries, refactoring suggestions and technical documentation.
- Candidates should demonstrate a modern AI-assisted development workflow and the ability to significantly improve developer productivity while maintaining code quality.
