Role Overview
We are looking for a proactive and hands-on IT System Administrator to manage and support IT
infrastructure at our Ringus plant location. The role is critical to ensure smooth day-to-day IT operations,
system availability, network stability, and data security in a plant/operations-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
System Administration

Install, configure, and maintain Windows and Linux servers

Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policies
-
Perform server patching, updates, performance tuning, and monitoring
-
Monitor system health, logs, backups, and uptime
-
Implement and manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery plans
-
Manage virtualization environments (VMware / Hyper-V)
-
Maintain IT documentation, SOPs, and asset records
Networking
-
Manage and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN
-
Configure and maintain routers, switches, and firewalls
-
Strong understanding of TCP/IP, VLAN, NAT, routing, subnetting
-
Monitor network performance and resolve connectivity issues
-
Implement network and endpoint security best practices
-
Coordinate with ISPs and vendors for network, hardware, and system issues
IT Support & Compliance
-
Provide L2/L3 support for plant users and business applications
-
Ensure IT compliance, security policies, and audit readiness
-
Support onboarding/offboarding from an IT perspective
-
Ensure minimal downtime for plant operations
Skills & Competencies

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently at a plant location

Good documentation and communication skills

Experience in manufacturing/plant/industrial environments is preferred
