You will be part of an integrated design team, coordinating with team members to meet project schedules and deliverables on time and within the defined budget.</p> <p>&nbsp;<strong>Essential Responsibilities </strong></p> <ul> <li>Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams to assist in various power delivery projects within the O&amp;G industrial sector, such as substation engineering design, transmission and distribution design, behind the meter power system modeling, as well as other project related tasks</li> <li>Assist in creating design products such as equipment general arrangements, single line diagrams, elevations, connection details, bill of materials, construction details, grounding details, conduit plans, illumination plans, etc.</li> <li>Prepares computer-based models and perform power system studies</li> <li>Supports electrical power system studies, including equipment sizing, specification, and selection, load flow, reactive power, ampacity, short circuit, grounding, illumination, arc flash, harmonics, system loss, etc.</li> <li>Assists in preparing various documents and reports associated with projects, including cost estimates, budget reports, and studies.</li> <li>Research and develop a strong understanding and comprehension of applicable Codes and Standards.</li> <li>Attend safety training and follow safety rules and guidelines.</li> <li>Other job-related responsibilities as assigned.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Must Have </strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Education: </strong>Currently pursuing a bachelor’s in electrical engineering or electrical engineering technology from an accredited institution, electric power option preferred.</li> <li><strong>Experience: </strong>Relevant coursework or project experience in engineering.</li> <li>Experience with AutoCAD.</li> <li>Effective written and oral communication skills.</li> <li>Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing; strong interpersonal skills.</li> <li>Must be self-motivated, well-organized, and a skilled decision-maker comfortable in a fast-paced design environment.</li> <li>Excellent problem-solving skills.</li> <li>Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.</li> </ul> <p>Pay Range - $20.00 - $27.00 an hour depending on location.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Disclaimer&nbsp;</strong></p> <p>While AI tools may support your application process, this role is built on human talent.
