This is an opportunity to contribute to renewable energy development while working directly with landowners, project teams, title resources, and client stakeholders throughout the land acquisition process.</span></p> <p class="isSelectedEnd"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">This role will support early-stage solar project development across multiple areas of interest.&nbsp;We are looking for professionals with strong landowner communication skills, renewable energy or utility-scale land acquisition experience, and the ability to work independently across rural project environments. Candidates located in Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, or Michigan are strongly preferred due to anticipated travel throughout assigned project areas.</span></p> <h2><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Responsibilities</span></h2> <ul data-spread="false"> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Support right of way and land acquisition activities for utility-scale solar energy projects.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Conduct landowner outreach and build positive relationships with property owners, agricultural landowners, and local stakeholders.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Facilitate negotiations for easements, options, rights-of-entry, solar lease agreements, purchase agreements, survey permissions, and related project documents.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Support competitor research, including identifying active or prior renewable energy agreements, land control activity, and competing project activity within assigned Areas of Interest.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Assist with online mapping, parcel review, ownership verification, and project tracking using GIS, county records, tax rolls, and other research platforms.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Coordinate with project managers, title resources, survey teams, document teams, client stakeholders, and internal land teams.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Review and maintain accurate parcel, landowner, acquisition, deed, and project documentation.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Support surface title, courthouse research, deed review, and ownership verification efforts as needed.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Assist with preparation, review, execution, and recording of land rights documents.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Track landowner communications, acquisition progress, project updates, and parcel status in internal systems.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Read and interpret maps, plats, legal descriptions, parcel data, and project exhibits to explain project impacts to landowners.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Support field-based activities, stakeholder engagement, issue resolution, and project close-out documentation.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Travel throughout assigned project areas in Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, and Michigan as project needs require.</span></li> </ul> <h2><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Qualifications</span></h2> <ul data-spread="false"> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Prior right of way, land acquisition, easement acquisition, renewable energy leasing, or landowner negotiation experience required.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Experience supporting solar energy, renewable energy, utility, electric transmission, pipeline, or other large-scale infrastructure projects preferred.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Strong communication, negotiation, documentation, and relationship-building skills.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Ability to work independently in rural communities, agricultural areas, and field-based project environments.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Comfortable coordinating with landowners, project teams, title resources, document teams, and client stakeholders.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Working knowledge of property ownership research, land rights, deeds, easements, option agreements, lease agreements, purchase agreements, and real estate documentation.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Ability to
