**What you’ll do**
As a **Lead Structural Engineer** in our **Energy** team based in **Brisbane**, you’ll contribute to projects and programs that make a real difference and be part of a team that embraces challenges, welcomes diverse ideas, and engineer solutions with people and outcomes in mind. You will:
* Oversee structural design delivery across substations, transmission, BESS, solar, wind and power plant projects. * Partner with clients to solve complex technical challenges and deliver practical engineering solutions. * Guide and support a collaborative team, sharing knowledge and developing technical capability. * Drive high\-quality structural designs using industry\-leading tools, methodologies and best practices. * Collaborate with teams across engineering, advisory, digital and environmental disciplines. * Apply advanced engineering analysis to optimise performance, efficiency and constructability. * Champion technical excellence, innovation and continuous improvement across projects and teams. * Build trusted client relationships and support the growth of Aurecon's Energy business. * Foster an inclusive, supportive team environment where people can learn, grow and thrive.
**What you’ll bring**
* Relevant engineering qualifications plus significant experience delivering structural designs for energy infrastructure projects, with CPEng and RPEQ registration. * Proven experience designing steel and reinforced concrete structures, with expertise in structural analysis, modelling and foundation design. * Supportive approach to mentoring teams, sharing knowledge and helping others grow while guiding complex technical decisions. * Ability to build trusted relationships and work effectively with clients, colleagues and multidisciplinary teams. * Experience leading projects and balancing technical excellence with programme, budget and delivery outcomes. * A passion for innovation, continuous improvement and supporting the energy transition.
