**The team**

ASIC's Registry Operations team manages some of Australia's most critical business registers, serving millions of companies and business names. We support users across the economy, from businesses and professionals to government and the public \- helping them register, manage and access vital information, and providing assistance at every stage of their registry journey.

**The role**

The **Data Quality Specialist (Analyst)** is responsible for monitoring, analysing and improving the quality of registry data to ensure it is accurate, reliable and fit for operational, regulatory and public use. Working closely with the Registry Data Lead, the role delivers hands\-on data quality analysis, issue resolution and continuous improvement initiatives across registry systems and processes.

You will be accountable for:

* Analysing and validating registry data to identify, anomalies and data quality issues. * Monitoring, managing and improving data quality across accuracy, completeness, consistency, timeliness and validity measures. * Developing data quality metrics, dashboards and reporting to track performance and remediation outcomes. * Investigating root causes of data quality issues and implement corrective actions with business and technology stakeholders. * Supporting backlog management, testing and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance data quality controls and processes. * Partnering with Registry Operations, RegistryConnect and Data Governance teams to implement data standards, manage risks and provide insights for decision\-making.

**About you**

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

* Demonstrated experience in data quality, data governance, data analysis and the management of data risks, issues and remediation activities. * Strong technical capability in SQL and data disciplines such as analytics, reporting, data modelling, visualisation or data warehousing. * Experience working with business and technology stakeholders to investigate, resolve and improve data\-related issues. * Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in data, analytics, information management, IT, computer science or a related discipline.
