The Right Mindset
The right person for this position does not need to walk in knowing exactly how to perform every analysis.
We are looking for someone who can look at a set of numbers and asks, “Does this make sense?”
You should be someone who notices when a margin looks unusual, asks why a cost changed, wants to understand how a project makes money, and is willing to dig into the details to find the answer.
The Controller will provide direction and context, but the analyst will be expected to develop the ability to independently investigate questions, build analyses, and present findings clearly.
This position is a strong fit for someone who enjoys accounting and finance but wants to move toward business analysis, problem solving, and decision support rather than purely transactional accounting.
