Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated and curious intern to support our Business Intelligence and Data team. This role is ideal for someone interested in applying data analytics and AI in a real-world automotive context, including market insights, pricing intelligence, and localization of models.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in analyzing automotive market data (pricing, demand trends, vehicle attributes)
- Support data cleaning, preparation, and validation for analytics and model training
- Contribute to AI/ML model training and testing (e.g., pricing models, demand prediction)
- Help localize global models to the Malaysian / regional automotive market
- Build dashboards, reports, and insights for internal and partner stakeholders
- Collaborate with product, commercial, and data teams on business use cases
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or related field
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with Excel, SQL, Python, or similar tools is a plus
- Interest in AI/ML concepts and real-world applications
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Interest in automotive, marketplaces, or tech-driven businesses is advantageous
