Autowave Limited is the UK's leading aftermarket auto locksmith equipment and supplies distributor. An important position has arisen for a Sales Executive to join us at our head office in Long Eaton, Nottingham.
The successful candidate will have experience within the automotive industry and possess the capacity to sell technical products. This role would be very suited to someone from a motor factor background or experience in diagnostic, key programming, auto electrical or related activities.
We are looking for someone that is hungry to learn, sell and be at the top of their game.
The customer base varies from micro businesses to international corporations, so the ability to operate at all levels is very important. Key programming products within the aftermarket is a major growth area, this role offers the benefits of joining a lucrative industry with a market leading company.
The successful candidate will be involved in selling and advising customers on items such as:
· Key programming equipment
· Remotes, keys, transponders
· Lock Picks
· Soldering equipment
· ECU/Module programming devices
On going training on these products will be provided.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Calling prospective customers
- Building relationships with new and existing customers
- Answering telephone calls and dealing with them as appropriate
- Creating estimates for customers
- Advising parts compatibility
- Creating invoices and taking payments
- Responding to customer enquiries (email and telephone)
- Promoting the business through digital channels and networking
Required Skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Software
- Automotive Experience
- Excellent spelling, grammar and maths
- Good telephone manner
- Understanding of VAT
- Common sense
- Knowledge of vehicles

Basic salary is £28000 - £30000 + a generous performance related bonus of up to £5000 per year.
This is a permanent full time office based position.
