We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Sr.Site Engineer to oversee site activities for construction. The candidate will be responsible for site execution, supervision, quality control, and coordination with vendors and contractors to ensure timely completion of the project.
Job Skills
- Regularly liaise with subcontractors, architects, engineers, surveyors, planners, supervisors & anyone else involved in the project.
- Frequently meet with the client to update them on the progress of the project.
- Monitor and interpret technical designs and drawings, ensuring they are applied correctly.
- Negotiate, agree and oversee (with quantity surveyors) the choice and price of materials to be utilized on the project.
- Set out, level and survey the site.
- Manage the site on a day-to-day basis.
- Provide cost-effective proposals, solutions and alternatives for the project.
- Make sure projects meet agreed specifications, budgets and deadlines.
- Provide technical advice and solve any on-site problems that occur.
- Prepare and create site reports, as well as complete any necessary paperwork.
- Ensure that health and safety policies are obeyed.
- It’s not always required, but for some projects, you’ll have to communicate with the local authority to make sure you comply with local regulations and by-laws
Qualifications & Skills:
- B.TECH / B.E. in civil
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience as a Site Engineer, with exposure to construction industry.
- Knowledge of site execution, QA/QC, AutoCAD.
- Strong understanding of civil materials.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
