Daily Tasks

Administration, configuration and ongoing operation of Fortinet security solutions.

Participation in the design and implementation of IT security strategies.

Conducting vulnerability analyses, security assessments and risk evaluations in the network environment.

Collaboration with internal specialist departments and external partners as part of projects and day-to-day operations.

Creation and maintenance of technical documentation, including network concepts, operating manuals and change documentation.
Projects and Objectives

Further development of the firewall platform.

Taking security requirements into account.

Introduction of local next-generation firewalls, including SD-WAN.

Establishment of microsegmentation.
Education and Qualifications
- At least completed vocational training, e.g. as an IT specialist for systems integration.
Professional Experience
- At least 3 years of professional experience.
Technical Skills
-
Several years of professional experience in IT security and network technology.

In-depth knowledge of Fortinet technologies.

Sound understanding of network security, firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN, SSL inspection, web security, NAC and endpoint protection.

Experience with log analysis, incident response and SIEM solutions would be advantageous.
