The Role
We’re looking for an AWS Cloud & DevOps Engineer to design, build and operate secure, scalable cloud platforms for our clients. You’ll work across multiple projects and industries, building automated pipelines, supporting production systems and helping teams move from idea to reliable implementation.
What You’ll Do
Design & Build Cloud Platforms
- Design and implement secure, scalable AWS architectures aligned to best practices
- Support cloud platforms underpinning application, data and analytics workloads
Infrastructure as Code & Automation
- Build and manage infrastructure using tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation
- Enable consistent, repeatable and automated deployments
DevOps & CI/CD
- Design, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins or AWS CodePipeline
- Embed DevOps practices across delivery teams, including automated testing, release management and version control
- Work with containers and orchestration (Docker, ECS, EKS) to streamline deployments
Security, Governance & Reliability
- Implement IAM, networking, encryption, logging and monitoring patterns
- Contribute to secure AWS landing zones and governed cloud environments
Operate & Support Production Systems
- Support live environments through monitoring, troubleshooting, optimisation and incident response
- Improve reliability, performance and cost efficiency
Client Delivery & Collaboration
- Work closely with clients and delivery teams to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Communicate clearly, document effectively and follow through on commitments
What We’re Looking For
Cloud Engineering Experience
- 7-10+ years of hands-on experience delivering AWS cloud solutions
- Strong experience with services such as VPC, IAM, EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda and CloudWatch
- Experience working in security-conscious, production environments
- Exposure to data platforms (e.g. AWS Glue, SageMaker) is a bonus
DevOps & Automation Skills
- Proven DevOps experience, including building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines in production environments
- Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Hands-on with containers and orchestration (Docker, ECS or EKS)
- Comfortable with Git, GitHub/GitLab and scripting in Bash or Python
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools (e.g. CloudWatch, Datadog, Grafana) is a plus
