Axis Max Life Insurance is seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager - Training to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to design, implement, and oversee training programs that enhance the skills and knowledge of our employees, ensuring adherence to company standards and industry regulations. The Manager - Training will collaborate with various departments to identify training needs, develop effective training materials, and evaluate the success of training initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess training needs through surveys, interviews, and performance reviews to identify skill gaps and training requirements.
- Develop and deliver training programs, workshops, and seminars that align with organizational goals and enhance employee performance.
- Create comprehensive training materials, including presentations, manuals, and e-learning modules.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics.
- Collaborate with department heads to tailor training solutions that meet specific team needs.
- Maintain training records and documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in training and development.
- Mentor and support trainers and instructional staff to foster a culture of continuous learning.
Skills and Tools Required:
- Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and training methodologies.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in designing and delivering engaging training content using various tools and mediums.
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess training needs and measure training effectiveness.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while being self-motivated.
- Experience with performance management systems and employee development strategies.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and other relevant software.
- Previous experience in the insurance industry or financial services sector is a plus.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in training and development, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Certification in training methodologies or instructional design is preferred.
