Developer – Sage X3 Preferred (Remote – Canada)
Job Summary
Salary: Starting at $75,000 per year, and up based on experience and skillset
We are seeking a Software Developer to build, enhance, integrate, and support business applications. Strong Microsoft-stack development skills are required; Sage X3 development or customization experience is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and support secure web and desktop applications
- Build and maintain integrations, customizations, reports, APIs, and supporting tools, including Sage X3 solutions where applicable
- Troubleshoot defects, improve performance, and enhance existing applications
- Translate requirements into clean, maintainable code and technical documentation
- Participate in code reviews, testing, source control, and release activities
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams while managing priorities and project commitments
Required Experience and Skills
- Three or more years of professional development experience with C#, .NET, ASP.NET MVC and/or .NET Core
- Experience with Entity Framework, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, SQL, and relational databases
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming, application architecture, APIs, and integration patterns
- Experience with Git and Azure DevOps, including repositories, pipelines, and backlogs
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, communication, organization, and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote, client-facing environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience developing, customizing, integrating, or supporting Sage X3
- Experience in integrating Sage X3 with external system using REST, SOAP and GraphQL
- Familiarity with Sage X3 tools, APIs, web services, workflows, reports, data structures, or 4GL
- ERP business-process knowledge and/or experience with WPF, cloud services, automated testing, CI/CD, or application security
