Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to support effective workforce management and the restaurant’s operational objectives.
- Manage recruitment activities, including vacancy planning, job advertisements, candidate screening, interviews and employee onboarding.
- Plan staffing requirements in line with customer demand, brunch services, evening dining and the restaurant’s operational needs.
- Oversee employee induction, training and development to improve staff performance, customer service and operational efficiency.
- Monitor employee records, contracts, attendance, leave and confidential HR documentation.
- Advise management on employee relations, disciplinary matters, grievances, performance concerns and workplace disputes.
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation, right-to-work requirements, workplace policies and applicable health and safety procedures.
Experience
- Degree or equivalent qualification.
- Extensive knowledge of human resources practices, employment law, and compliance standards.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly and confidently to diverse audiences.
