Role Overview
We are looking for an E-Commerce Operations Executive / Assistant E-Commerce Operations Manager to manage the complete backend operations of our e-commerce and quick-commerce channels.
The role will be responsible for marketplace operations, FBA fulfillment, inventory management, listing/catalog operations, stock availability, returns, shipments, PO processing, invoicing, appointment-based deliveries, and inventory planning/forecasting.
This is a purely operations-focused role.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Marketplace Operations
- Manage day-to-day backend operations across Amazon, Flipkart, FirstCry, Meesho, Blinkit and other e-commerce/quick-commerce platforms.
- Monitor marketplace dashboards for pending actions, errors, inactive SKUs and operational issues.
- Coordinate with marketplace teams, warehouse teams, logistics partners and internal teams for smooth operations.
- Ensure all operational activities are completed within defined timelines.
- Identify operational gaps and proactively follow up for resolution.
- Maintain daily operational trackers and MIS.
2. Amazon FBA & Fulfillment
- Create and manage Amazon FBA shipment plans based on inventory requirements.
- Prepare SKU-wise shipment quantities and coordinate with the warehouse for dispatch.
- Generate shipment labels, box labels and required documentation.
- Track FBA shipments from creation to delivery/check-in.
- Monitor FBA inventory, stranded inventory and fulfillment issues.
- Track shipment discrepancies, missing/damaged inventory and receiving issues.
- Raise and follow up on Amazon cases for operational issues.
- Ensure adequate inventory availability across fulfillment locations.
3. Inventory Management
- Monitor SKU-wise inventory across marketplaces, warehouses and fulfillment centers.
- Track daily stock levels, sales velocity and inventory cover.
- Calculate and monitor Daily Run Rate (DRR).
- Identify potential stock-out and overstock situations.
- Prepare replenishment requirements based on:
- Current inventory
- DRR
- Lead time
- Open orders/POs
- In-transit inventory
- Warehouse stock
- Marketplace stock
- Coordinate with warehouse/supply-chain teams for timely replenishment.
- Monitor inventory mismatches between physical and marketplace stock.
4. Inventory Planning & Forecasting
- Support SKU-level demand planning and inventory forecasting.
- Prepare 15/30/45/60-day inventory projections as required.
- Forecast future inventory requirements based on historical sales and current run rate.
- Identify upcoming stock-out risks and communicate them proactively.
- Support event/season-based inventory planning.
- Coordinate with procurement, warehouse and business teams to ensure inventory readiness.
- Maintain inventory planning and replenishment trackers.
5. Listing & Catalog Management
- Create and maintain product listings across marketplaces.
- Manage product:
- Titles
- Bullet points
- Descriptions
- Images
- Attributes
- HSN/GST details
- Dimensions & weight
- Product specifications
- Variants
- Backend attributes
- Identify and resolve suppressed, inactive or incorrect listings.
- Coordinate with marketplace teams for catalog corrections and approvals.
- Support new SKU/product launches from an operational and catalog perspective.
- Ensure accurate and consistent product information across platforms.
6. Returns, RTO & Reconciliation
- Monitor marketplace returns, cancellations and RTOs.
- Track returns SKU-wise and channel-wise.
- Coordinate with warehouse teams for return receipt and reconciliation.
- Identify discrepancies between marketplace return reports and physical inventory.
- Track damaged/unsellable returned inventory.
- Maintain return and RTO trackers.
- Escalate abnormal return or operational issues.
7. PO & Invoice Operations
- Manage PO-based operations across relevant marketplaces and quick-commerce channels.
- Receive and validate POs for SKU, quantity, price, tax and other details.
- Coordinate inventory allocation against POs.
- Create invoices against confirmed orders/POs.
- Prepare dispatch and shipping documentation.
- Coordinate with warehouse/logistics teams for PO fulfillment.
- Track PO status from PO receipt → processing → appointment → dispatch → delivery.
- Maintain pending PO and aging trackers.
- Coordinate with finance/accounts for invoice-related discrepancies.
8. Appointment-Based Delivery
- Manage appointment-based delivery processes for marketplaces, quick-commerce and other channels.
- Create delivery appointments against POs.
- Coordinate with respective warehouses/DCs.
- Track appointment availability and delivery slots.
- Coordinate with logistics partners for on-time delivery.
- Manage appointment rescheduling and failed/missed appointments.
- Resolve appointment-related operational issues.
- Maintain appointment and delivery status trackers.
9. Blinkit & Quick-Commerce Operations
- Manage backend operational activities for Blinkit and other quick-commerce platforms.
- Monitor inventory availability and replenishment requirements.
- Track SKU availability and stock-outs across locations wherever data is available.
- Coordinate dispatches and replenishment with warehouse/logistics teams.
- Manage PO-based operations and appointment scheduling.
- Track pending POs, appointments, dispatches and deliveries.
- Coordinate with quick-commerce platform teams for operational issues.
- Ensure products remain operationally available across relevant locations.
10. Stock-Out Management
- Monitor daily stock availability across all channels.
- Prepare daily stock-out and low-stock reports.
- Identify SKUs approaching critical inventory levels.
- Highlight stock-out risks to the relevant teams.
- Coordinate replenishment to prevent loss of availability.
- Identify the reason for stock-outs, including:
- Low physical inventory
- Marketplace inventory mismatch
- FBA/warehouse issues
- In-transit delays
- Listing/inventory sync issues
- Fulfillment restrictions
- Follow up until the issue is resolved.
11. Reporting & MIS
Maintain regular operational reports covering:
- Daily inventory
- DRR
- Stock cover
- Stock-out report
- FBA inventory
- FBA shipments
- In-transit inventory
- Returns/RTO
- PO status
- Appointment status
- Pending deliveries
- Marketplace availability
- Inventory forecast
- Replenishment requirements
- Operational issues/escalations
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Must Have
- 3–5 years of experience in E-commerce / Marketplace Operations
- Hands-on experience with Amazon Seller Central and FBA
- Strong understanding of marketplace backend operations
- Experience in inventory management and replenishment
- Experience in FBA shipment creation and fulfillment
- Experience in listing/catalog management
- Understanding of returns and RTO processes
- Experience with PO processing and invoice generation
- Understanding of appointment-based deliveries
- Strong coordination and follow-up skills
- Strong Excel/Google Sheets knowledge
- Ability to work with large SKU-level datasets
Preferred Experience
- Experience with Blinkit / Quick Commerce
- Experience with Flipkart, FirstCry, Meesho or similar marketplaces
- Experience with PO/vendor-based operations
- Experience working with warehouses and 3PL partners
- Experience with ERP/WMS systems
- Understanding of GST/HSN and marketplace invoicing
