Data Analyst Intern

About the Role
We are looking for a Data Analyst Intern who is curious, analytical, and eager to learn how data can be transformed into meaningful business insights.
The intern will work closely with the team to collect, clean, analyze, and visualize data while supporting various business and operational reporting requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, organize, and validate data from multiple sources.
- Analyze datasets to identify trends, patterns, and meaningful insights.
- Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports for internal teams.
- Create and maintain dashboards and data visualizations.
- Assist in tracking and monitoring key business/operational metrics.
- Perform data validation and identify inconsistencies or data-quality issues.
- Support the team in preparing presentations and reports based on analytical findings.
- Work with stakeholders to understand data requirements and reporting needs.
- Assist in automating repetitive reporting and data-processing tasks where possible.
- Maintain proper documentation of datasets, reports, and analytical processes.
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of Data Analysis and Statistics.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets.
- Basic knowledge of SQL.
- Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or other visualization tools is an advantage.
- Basic understanding of data cleaning and data visualization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate findings clearly.
- Willingness to learn and work with new tools and technologies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- Candidates with academic projects involving data analysis, dashboards, SQL, or visualization will be preferred.
- Internship or project experience in data analysis is a plus.
