We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior FEA Engineer to join our team. As a Senior FEA Engineer, you will be responsible for working independently on complex engineering problems and delivering high-quality FEA solutions to our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Independently conduct advanced FEA analyses to solve complex engineering problems for a wide range of clients and industries
- Mentor other engineers in FEA methods and practices
- Collaborate with engineers, technicians, metallurgists and clients to understand project requirements and develop project scopes
- Write and deliver technical reports and presentations that clearly communicate analysis results and recommendations
- Contribute to FEA process improvement, including creating tools and new methods, developing best practices, and identifying areas for process optimization.
To be successful in this role you will:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience with ANSYS, Abaqus, or similar FEA software
- Demonstrated ability to work independently
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of metals and their damage mechanisms
- CPEng and/or RPEQ accreditation is favorable
- Experience with fracture mechanics and FFS is highly favorable
- Be willing and able to travel as and when required both domestically and internationally.
