In this key leadership position, you will assume full strategic and operational responsibility for Human Resources at Stollwerck in Germany, covering four locations. Based in Norderstedt, you will report directly to the Managing Director Germany, lead the local HR teams, and work closely with the international HR teams across our Group.

Stollwerck is part of the internationally operating Baronie Group, with 19 locations worldwide. As a member of this Group, you will shape the HR strategy for Germany in close alignment with the overall Group HR strategy, ensuring that Group-wide objectives and standards are effectively balanced with local requirements.

As a strategic business partner to the Managing Director and the management team, you will play an active role in shaping the future development of our organization. You will develop forward-looking HR concepts that support both our business objectives and the interests of our employees, while ensuring their effective implementation.

You will combine strategic thinking with a pragmatic, hands-on, and solution-oriented approach. You will challenge existing structures and processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and continuously drive the professionalization, digitalization, and efficiency of our HR operations.

Another key aspect of your role will be your active involvement in shaping collective bargaining policies within the German confectionery industry. You will represent our company's interests, closely monitor developments in collective bargaining, and contribute to establishing sustainable employment and collective labor agreement frameworks.

You will take responsibility for the entire employee lifecycle – from talent acquisition and employee development to long-term talent retention. Through modern HR tools, data-driven performance management, and targeted change initiatives, you will make a significant contribution to the long-term success of Stollwerck and the Baronie Group.

Your responsibilities as Human Resources Manager Germany at Stollwerck:

Leadership and development of the HR team in Germany

  • You will lead, coach, and develop the HR teams at our German locations, fostering strong collaboration across sites. In doing so, you will ensure consistent HR standards, efficient processes, and a high level of service quality.

Talent Management and Personnel Development

  • You will develop and implement a sustainable talent strategy for Germany. This encompasses workforce planning, recruiting, candidate experience, onboarding, as well as the acquisition and retention of talent. Furthermore, you will design and establish development programs—covering performance management, talent cultivation, succession planning, competency management, and learning—to support the long-term professional growth of our employees. •

HR Policies, Processes, and Compliance

  • You develop and implement HR policies, processes, and governance structures for Germany, ensuring they align with corporate standards, business requirements, and applicable legal regulations.

Employer Branding and Employee Retention

  • You are responsible for further developing our employer brand in Germany, in line with our global employer branding strategy. Through targeted initiatives, you strengthen our position as an attractive employer, foster employee engagement, and successfully execute strategic measures to attract and retain talent.

Compensation & Benefits

  • You contribute to the ongoing development of a competitive compensation and benefits strategy and ensure its successful implementation in Germany. In doing so, you promote transparent, fair, and performance-based compensation systems.

Labor Law, Codetermination, and Compliance

  • You ensure compliance with all relevant regulations concerning labor law, social security, data protection, and occupational health and safety. Furthermore, you maintain a relationship of trust and constructive cooperation with the General Works Council and local works councils.

HR Analytics and Strategic HR Management

  • You analyze relevant HR metrics and personnel data, identify key areas for action, and derive well-founded measures and recommendations for the organization.

HR Business Partnering

  • Acting as a strategic sparring partner to the executive team and management, you provide counsel on all HR- and organization-related matters. You support data-driven decision-making in areas such as talent management, organizational development, succession planning, performance management, and change management.

Corporate Culture and Change Management

  • You foster a high-performing, values-driven corporate culture and guide change and transformation processes. In doing so, you strengthen collaboration, engagement, diversity, and identification with the company’s core values.

HR Digitalization and Process Optimization

  • You drive the digitalization of the HR function, identify opportunities for optimization, and implement modern HR systems and tools. Working alongside international colleagues, you promote efficient, cross-site solutions to improve processes, data quality, and the foundations for decision-making.

What you bring to the role of Human Resources Manager Germany at Stollwerck:

  • A successfully completed university degree with a focus on human resources management, business administration, psychology, or a comparable qualification.
  • Extensive professional experience in Human Resources Management, ideally including at least ten to twelve years in senior HR leadership roles within international manufacturing or production companies with multiple locations. A proven track record in developing and implementing HR strategies, as well as managing transformation and change processes within complex, dynamic corporate environments.
