**About Be Creative**
Be Creative DIY Studio is a family\-owned creative experience studio offering paint\-pour figurines, rug tufting, candle making, fluid art, parties, private events, and other hands\-on activities.
We are looking for a dependable, organized, and hands\-on manager to lead our team and oversee the daily operation of the studio.
This position is ideal for someone with management experience in hospitality, restaurants, retail, entertainment, events, or another fast\-paced customer\-service environment.
Creativity is a plus, but strong leadership, organization, cleanliness, and customer service are the priorities for this role.
**Responsibilities**
* Oversee the daily opening and closing of the studio. * Ensure the studio remains clean, organized, stocked, and guest\-ready. * Review daily reservations, events, walk\-ins, and staffing needs. * Assign responsibilities to employees and verify that tasks are completed correctly. * Supervise, coach, train, and hold team members accountable. * Maintain high standards for customer service and studio presentation. * Assist guests with activities, pricing, upgrades, and questions. * Handle customer concerns professionally. * Monitor project labeling, storage, pickup, and shipping procedures. * Help manage inventory and communicate supply needs. * Ensure employee checklists and operational procedures are followed. * Assist with scheduling, shift coverage, and employee performance concerns. * Provide regular updates regarding staffing, inventory, guest concerns, and studio operations. * Enforce studio safety policies and document incidents when necessary. * Work alongside the team during busy periods, including cleaning, resetting tables, preparing activity stations, and assisting guests.
**Qualifications**
* Previous management, supervisory, or team\-leadership experience is required. * At least two years of leadership experience is strongly preferred. * Experience in hospitality, restaurants, retail, entertainment, events, or customer service is preferred. * Strong leadership, delegation, and organizational skills. * Comfortable addressing employee performance concerns. * Excellent communication and customer\-service skills. * Strong attention to cleanliness and detail. * Ability to remain calm and make decisions in a fast\-paced environment. * Comfortable learning booking, scheduling, messaging, and point\-of\-sale systems. * Dependable transportation and consistent attendance. * Must be willing to work alongside the team and assist wherever needed. * Evening and weekend availability is required.
Experience with art, crafts, DIY activities, or parties is helpful but not required.
**Schedule**
The studio is open Wednesday through Sunday. The manager must be available to work a combination of:
* Weekday afternoons and evenings * Fridays * Saturdays * Sundays * Special events and holidays when scheduled
Weekend availability is required.
**Compensation**
This position starts at **$18\.00 per hour** and is eligible for a **quarterly performance bonus of up to $500**.
Bonus eligibility may be based on:
* Studio cleanliness and organization * Team performance and accountability * Customer satisfaction * Inventory and project accuracy * Attendance and dependability * Sales and operational goals
Quarterly bonuses are performance\-based and are not guaranteed.
