Job Description
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using Python, Django, and Django REST Framework (DRF).
- Design, develop, and integrate RESTful APIs using appropriate web technologies and client-server architecture.
- Implement responsive and user-friendly interfaces using jQuery, Bootstrap, and CSS.
- Design, manage, and optimize SQL/PostgreSQL databases to ensure performance, reliability, and data integrity.
- Apply object-oriented programming (OOP) principles to build clean, maintainable, and scalable applications.
- Leverage AI-assisted coding tools and prompt engineering techniques to improve development efficiency and code quality.
- Take ownership of tasks throughout the development lifecycle, from requirements analysis and implementation to testing, deployment, and production support.
- Write clean, readable, well-documented code and follow established development best practices.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders while working independently with minimal supervision.
- Continuously explore and adapt to new tools, technologies, and development practices.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Strong proficiency in Python and Django, with hands-on expertise in Django REST Framework (DRF).
- Experience with jQuery, Bootstrap, and CSS for frontend development and responsive UI design.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and class-based design principles.
- Good knowledge of HTTP, RESTful APIs, and client-server architecture.
- Hands-on experience with SQL and PostgreSQL, including database design and query optimization.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools, preferably Claude Code, and effective prompt engineering practices.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Ability to work independently, take ownership of deliverables, and manage tasks with minimal supervision.
- Clear communication skills and a collaborative working style.
- Adaptability and a genuine interest in learning new tools and technologies.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience in logistics or domain-driven software systems.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment workflows.
- Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Knowledge of AI/ML, Large Language Models (LLMs), or Generative AI.
