EHR Data Report Writer & Developer II BHcare | Information Technology & Electronic Health Records At BHcare, we use technology and data to improve the quality of care delivered to individuals and families throughout our communities. We're seeking an analytical, solutions-focused EHR Data Report Writer & Developer II to help drive organizational performance through innovative reporting, system optimization, and data-driven decision-making. In this highly collaborative role, you'll serve as a key resource for reporting, analytics, EHR administration, and end-user support. You'll partner with clinical, operational, quality, and financial teams to develop reporting solutions, enhance workflows, ensure data integrity, and support regulatory compliance across the organization.
This position is full-time, 37.5 hours per week. Candidates must reside in Connecticut to be eligible for this position.
What You'll Do:• Design, develop, and maintain reports, dashboards, and data extracts that support clinical, operational, financial, and quality initiatives.
- Partner with departments across BHcare to translate business needs into effective reporting and EHR solutions.
- Configure, test, implement, and support EHR enhancements, workflows, forms, interfaces, and system upgrades.
- Troubleshoot reporting, application, and data issues while providing technical support and training to end users.
- Monitor and maintain data integrity, system performance, and integrations between the EHR and other platforms.
- Administer user access, support compliance with HIPAA and confidentiality requirements, and assist with data governance efforts.
- Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to drive continuous improvement, optimize system functionality, and support regulatory reporting requirements. What You'll Bring: Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Health Informatics, or a related field and at least two years of report development experience; OR four or more years of directly related experience in lieu of a degree.
- Advanced SQL skills, including multi-table joins, subqueries, stored procedures, and query optimization.
- Experience developing reports and supporting applications in a production environment.
- Knowledge of HIPAA requirements and protected health information (PHI) management.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, organizational, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with EHR administration, development, or support.
- Experience with Qualifacts CareLogic.
- Knowledge of 42 CFR Part 2 regulations.
- Behavioral health, healthcare, or community health reporting experience.
- Familiarity with Pentaho, Looker, or similar ETL and business intelligence platforms.
- Experience utilizing AI tools for SQL development, data analysis, or technical documentation. What We Offer: The anticipated salary range for this position is $35.90 - $46.15. Actual compensation offered will be determined based on a variety of factors including relevant skills, experience, qualifications, certifications, and internal equity considerations.
