We are looking for an experienced SIEM Analyst to monitor security events, investigate alerts, identify threats, and support incident response operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and investigate security alerts using SIEM platforms.
- Perform log analysis, alert triage, threat detection, and incident investigation.
- Develop and fine-tune correlation rules, use cases, and detection logic.
- Identify suspicious activities, security incidents, and potential cyber threats.
- Support incident response, escalation, and root-cause analysis.
- Monitor log-source connectivity, data ingestion, and SIEM platform health.
- Prepare incident reports, dashboards, and security metrics.
- Collaborate with SOC, EDR, and infrastructure teams to improve detection capabilities.
Required Technical Skills
- Hands-on experience with SIEM tools such as Splunk, IBM QRadar, Microsoft Sentinel, ArcSight, or RSA NetWitness.
- Strong understanding of security logs, correlation rules, and alert investigation.
- Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, Windows and Linux logs.
- Understanding of incident response, threat intelligence, and MITRE ATT&CK.
- Experience with ticketing tools such as ServiceNow or BMC Remedy.
- Familiarity with EDR tools and threat detection technologies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant cybersecurity certifications such as Security+, CySA+, Splunk, or Microsoft Security certifications.
- Experience in a 24/7 SOC environment.
- Knowledge of SIEM administration, log onboarding, and troubleshooting.
