Blackline Civil is an Alberta-based heavy civil contractor specializing in earthworks, underground utilities, industrial site development, and municipal infrastructure. We partner with developers, engineers, and municipalities to deliver high-quality projects across Western Canada.
We’re looking for a skilled and experienced Civil Estimator to join our growing Edmonton-area team. This is an opportunity to step into a key role where your expertise directly impacts project success and company growth.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and quantity take-offs
- Review drawings, specifications, and tender documents
- Develop accurate pricing for labour, equipment, and materials
- Analyze subcontractor and supplier quotations
- Identify project risks, opportunities, and value engineering options
- Collaborate with project managers and operations teams to support successful bids
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of civil estimating experience (senior-level candidates preferred)
- Proven experience in underground utilities, earthworks, and land development
- Strong understanding of civil construction methods and sequencing
- Proficiency in estimating software and Excel
- Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and bid documents
- High attention to detail with strong organizational and time management skills
