YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
THE WHAT Design the tools that build the future. You develop high-precision tools, fixtures, and special-purpose machinery for advanced aerospace manufacturing — from winding tools for composites to CNC-ready fixtures. You own the design and ensure your concepts are functional, ergonomic, cost-effective, robust, and ready for the shopfloor.
THE WHY Our production depends on tools and fixtures that are precise, robust, and designed for real-world manufacturing. Your work turns engineering concepts into production-ready solutions that enable us to manufacture advanced aerospace components reliably and efficiently.
YOUR IMPACT You don't just design tools. You build the foundation for our manufacturing.
You ensure:
- High-precision tools and fixtures are designed for production
- Designs are manufacturable, cost-effective, and robust
- Engineering and Manufacturing can turn concepts into production-ready solutions
Your tasks in detail and by priority
Design production equipment and special-purpose machinery, including winding tools for fibre-reinforced plastics and metallic components.
_→ High Performance: Build precise solutions for demanding manufacturing processes _
Generate standard-compliant individual part and assembly drawings with clean geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
_→ Accountability: Own technical quality and manufacturability _
Select materials based on performance, efficiency, and manufacturability, with a focus on lean and robust design.
_→ High Performance: Keep it simple, robust, and fit for purpose _
Work closely with Development and Manufacturing to turn ideas into production-ready tools.
_→ Togetherness: Move from idea to working solution as one team _
Ensure your concepts are functional, ergonomic, cost-effective, and easy to implement on the shopfloor.
→ Candor: Seek feedback early, address challenges openly, and drive solutions forward
