Associate AI Engineer

Overview:

We are looking for a motivated and curious Associate AI Engineer to join our growing AI team. This role is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals (up to 1 year of experience) with strong Python fundamentals and a genuine interest in Artificial Intelligence and emerging technologies.

You will work alongside experienced engineers on real-world projects involving AI/ML, Generative AI, Agentic AI, and cloud technologies. This is a hands-on learning role with structured mentorship and a clear path to growth as an AI Engineer.

Key Responsibilities:

Development

• Write clean, well-structured Python code for applications, scripts, and AI-powered features.
• Assist in building Generative AI and LLM-based applications using APIs from providers such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google Gemini.
• Support the development of RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines, including data preparation, embeddings, and vector search.
• Contribute to building AI agents and automated workflows under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Practice prompt engineering, structured outputs, and tool/function calling techniques.

Integration and Data

• Work with REST APIs, JSON data, and databases to integrate AI capabilities into applications.
• Assist in building simple backend services using frameworks such as FastAPI or Flask.
• Clean, process, and prepare data for AI and ML tasks.

Testing and Deployment

• Test, debug, and troubleshoot assigned modules and features.
• Help evaluate AI outputs for accuracy, relevance, and quality.
• Gain exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), Docker, and deployment workflows.

Collaboration and Learning

• Understand project requirements and collaborate closely with senior team members.
• Participate in code reviews, team discussions, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
• Maintain clear documentation of code, experiments, and project work.
• Continuously learn new tools, frameworks, and techniques as AI technologies evolve.

Required Skills:

• Strong understanding of Python fundamentals, including data structures, functions, OOP, and error handling.
• Good grasp of core programming concepts and logical problem-solving.
• Basic knowledge of AI/ML concepts, gained through academics, internships, courses, or personal projects.
• Familiarity with Generative AI and LLMs (for example, using an LLM API or building a simple chatbot).
• Basic understanding of APIs, JSON, and working with data.
• Familiarity with Git and GitHub.
• Good analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Clear written and verbal communication.
• A strong willingness to learn and adapt quickly.

Good to Have:

• Hands-on project experience with LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, CrewAI, or similar frameworks.
• Exposure to vector databases such as ChromaDB, FAISS, Pinecone, or Qdrant.
• Familiarity with Python libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, or Hugging Face Transformers.
• Interest in or basic understanding of Agentic AI concepts and the Model Context Protocol (MCP).
• Basic exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) or Docker.
• Basic SQL knowledge.
• Relevant certifications, hackathon participation, Kaggle work, or open-source contributions.
• A GitHub profile or portfolio showcasing AI or Python projects.

Educational Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Academic, internship, or personal projects involving Python, AI/ML, Generative AI, or cloud technologies will be strongly considered.

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹450,000.00 per year
