Job Purpose
Provide strategic business support and technical expertise in fund administration to drive the seamless delivery of client onboarding, system enhancements, and unit-pricing accuracy, ensuring all fund accounting operations meet regulatory standards and internal SLAs.
Principal Role Accountabilities

Manage Fund Accounting & Unit Pricing: Execute daily NAV and unit-pricing calculations and ledger reconciliations to ensure absolute accuracy in pricing and compliance with accounting rules.

Lead Client Onboarding & Configuration: Partner with the Change Manager to design and implement fund-onboarding processes, ensuring technical configurations are accurately set up for new clients.

Drive Operational Change: Apply Agile and Waterfall methodologies to translate complex accounting requirements into scalable technical solutions and user stories for system enhancements.

OptimizeSystem Performance: Oversee the use of fund-accounting platforms and registry systems toidentifyand implement reportingbuild-outsand software improvements.

Coordinate Project Documentation: UtilizeJIRA, TFS, and SharePoint tomaintainrigorous documentation and issue tracking for all change initiatives and system tests.

Mitigate Operational Risk: Implement governance frameworks and internal controls across all change activities to minimize reputational and regulatory risk.

Deliver Stakeholder Reporting: Provide high-level technical insights and reporting to senior leadership and regulators regarding pricing anomalies and onboarding progress. What is required for you to succeed?

Fund Administration Expertise: Deep understanding of fund accounting, unit pricing, and regulatory reporting, specifically fortrustee, superannuation, and life-insurance entities.

Technical Proficiency: Demonstratedexpertisein fund-accounting platforms, unit-pricing engines, and registry systems.

Digital Literacy: Advancedproficiencyin MS Excel and proven experience with data-analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Python, Power BI, or Tableau).

Project Methodology: Proven experience applying design-thinking, mind-mapping, and Agile/Waterfall frameworks within a financial services environment.

Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of Australian taxation and regulatory frameworks.

Qualifications: Degree in Business, Accounting, or Data Science; CPA or relevant post-degree systems qualification is highly regarded.
