**The Opportunity**

Boeing Defence Australia (BDA) are looking for **Assembly Operators** to join the MQ\-28 Ghost Bat Production Facility currently being built at Wellcamp Toowoomba, QLD.

We expect these roles to commence October 2026\.

**What you'll get to do:**

* Perform precision assembly, fit\-up, riveting, bonding and fastening of airframe structures and sub\-assemblies. * Work alongside advanced automation equipment, including robots and NC machines. * Install and route wiring harnesses, avionics modules and mechanical systems per work instructions. * Carry out first article builds, build sub assemblies and conform to configuration control processes. * Use jigs, fixtures and tooling safely and accurately; support tooling and continuous improvement. * Conduct factory acceptance checks, functional tests and assist with production test activities. * Maintain high standards of safety, quality and traceability in a regulated defence environment. * Collaborate with engineers and the Quality team to resolve issues and improve manufacturing processes.

**Who we're looking for:**

* Prior experience in aerospace, production or precision manufacturing industries highly desirable. * Experienced in use of hand tools, power tools and common assembly equipment; experience with composites or riveting (solid/hi\-loc) advantageous. * Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity and pride in doing high\-quality work. * Ability to read and follow technical work instructions, drawings and safety procedures. * Good communication and teamwork skills; ability to work on shift rosters as required.
