Business Analyst Intern

About the role

**Job Overview** We are seeking a highly motivated and detail\-oriented Business Analyst intern to join our dynamic team. As an intern, you will work closely with stakeholders across the organization and learn to analyze business needs, translating them into actionable requirements, and collaborating with cross\-functional teams to deliver effective solutions. The Business Analyst intern will learn and contribute to the success of our projects by leveraging analytical skills, industry knowledge, interpersonal skills and excellent communication abilities.

**Responsibilities**

* Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies. * Create dashboards, visualizations, and reports to communicate insights to stakeholders. * Support business teams by providing data\-driven insights using statistical techniques. * Contribute to feature engineering and selection for predictive models. * Assist in evaluating model performance using appropriate metrics and help interpret results. * Use tools such as SQL, Python, Excel, and BI platforms (e.g., Power BI, Opensource tools) to automate data tasks. * Write scripts to automate data cleaning, reporting, and other routine analysis tasks. * Work cross\-functionally with engineering, product, and analytics teams. * Participate in team meetings, code reviews, and brainstorming sessions. * Document methodologies, findings, and project outcomes clearly and concisely. * Stay current on industry trends in AI, data analytics, and machine learning. * Take initiative to explore new tools, methods, and AI applications in data analysis. * Receive mentorship and training to grow technical and analytical skills. * Collaborate with stakeholders to understand needs, objectives, and challenges. * MS office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)/ G suite proficiency. * Experience in coding will be an added advantage. * Candidates, who do not have any software education, please do not apply * Apply SDLC methodologies for effective project planning and execution. * Analyze business processes, systems, and data to identify improvement opportunities and create BRDs. * Proficient in creating clear and comprehensive documentation. * Understand and work on data models, process flows, and data mappings. * Work closely with technical teams to design and validate solutions. * Will learn skills like flow charts, detailed documentations such as BRD, FRD. * Facilitate effective communication between business and technical teams. * Familiarity with relevant project management tools, software tools and technologies. * Maintain regular communication with project stakeholders, providing updates on progress, risks, and issues. * Must track project timelines, milestones, and deliverables, ensuring projects stay on schedule. * Present findings, progress updates, and recommendations to technical and non\-technical audiences. * Define and execute test plans, collaborating to ensure high\-quality solutions. * Support project planning, estimation, and resource allocation, monitoring progress and identifying risks

**Skills**

* MS office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)/ G suite, Figma proficiency. * Experience in coding will be an added advantage. * Possessing proficiency in multiple languages, both spoken and written, constitutes a valuable advantage. * Candidates, who do not have any software education, please do not apply
