Job Summary
The Busser plays a vital role in delivering a seamless dining experience by ensuring tables are cleaned, reset, and ready for guests, supporting servers during service, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the restaurant. This position requires speed, teamwork, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude to help the front-of-house operate efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
1. Dining Area Maintenance
- Clear and reset tables promptly after guests leave.
- Ensure tables are properly set according to Breakin' Brew standards.
- Clean chairs, booths, menus, condiment holders, and surrounding areas.
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas throughout service.
- Sweep and mop spills immediately to maintain guest safety.
2. Service Support
- Assist servers with food and beverage delivery when required.
- Refill water bottles and glasses as directed.
- Restock cutlery, napkins, crockery, and service stations.
- Assist in carrying trays and clearing used dishes.
- Help expedite service during busy periods.
3. Guest Assistance
- Greet guests warmly when appropriate.
- Assist guests with seating during peak hours if requested.
- Respond courteously to guest requests and immediately inform servers of any needs.
- Maintain a friendly, professional, and helpful attitude at all times.
4. Cleaning & Hygiene
- Maintain cleanliness of service stations.
- Dispose of waste promptly and correctly.
- Separate recyclables and food waste according to company procedures.
- Keep restrooms clean through regular checks (if assigned).
- Ensure all cleaning schedules are completed.
5. Kitchen Coordination
- Return used dishes, cutlery, and glassware to the dishwashing area.
- Organize dish drop-off efficiently to support kitchen operations.
- Communicate with kitchen and service staff regarding table readiness.
6. Opening & Closing Duties
- Prepare dining areas before opening.
- Ensure sufficient stock of napkins, cutlery, and service supplies.
- Complete assigned closing cleaning tasks.
- Assist with deep cleaning when scheduled.

Qualifications
- High school education preferred.
- Hospitality experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
Experience
