Wholesale Account Executive – Women’s Apparel

Salary: $120,000 gross per year
We are seeking an experienced Wholesale Account Executive to drive new account acquisition and business development within the women’s fashion and apparel industry.
This is an exciting opportunity with a fast-growing fashion technology and apparel company that combines AI-powered product discovery with an established global supply chain. The company works with retailers, brands and digital fashion platforms across the US, UK and Asia.
The successful candidate will work closely with senior leadership and play a key role in developing new wholesale accounts, building strategic customer relationships and growing the company’s business across the fashion retail market.
Key Responsibilities
* Identify and acquire new wholesale accounts across women’s apparel.
* Develop and maintain relationships with women’s apparel brands, specialty retailers, boutiques, e-commerce companies and digital-first fashion platforms.
* Build strong relationships with buyers, merchants, sourcing teams and other retail decision-makers.
* Identify new business opportunities and introduce innovative product development and manufacturing solutions.
* Present relevant product opportunities using market insights and consumer demand data.
* Manage the sales process from initial outreach through product presentation, sample development and production orders.
* Develop long-term customer relationships and build a strong book of business.
* Collaborate with product development, sourcing, manufacturing and leadership teams to support successful customer programs.
* Represent the company at customer meetings, trade shows, industry events and market appointments as required.
Requirements
* 5+ years of wholesale sales experience within women’s apparel.
* Experience with an apparel manufacturer, private-label supplier, wholesale fashion brand or fashion sales agency is highly preferred.
* Established relationships with women’s apparel buyers, merchants, sourcing teams, specialty retailers, brands or e-commerce fashion companies.
* Proven track record of developing new business and acquiring wholesale accounts.
* Experience selling apparel collections, private-label programs or production solutions.
* Strong understanding of the fashion retail landscape and wholesale buying process.
* Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
* Strong business development and sales skills with a proven ability to close opportunities.
* Self-motivated, organized and comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment.
* Willingness to travel for customer meetings, trade shows and industry events when required.
* Experience with CRM systems, digital sales tools, data platforms or technology-enabled sales solutions is an advantage.
