Lead transformative water and wastewater treatment projects while shaping the future of our regional practice as a Water/Wastewater Treatment Engineering Lead. In this pivotal role, you'll mentor and orchestrate engineering teams through complex water and wastewater treatment design projects, while serving as a trusted client advisor and developing the next generation of water/wastewater engineers. You'll combine deep technical expertise with strategic business development to deliver exceptional projects on time and within budget, building lasting partnerships that strengthen communities and expand our presence across the region.
What You'll Do
- Build a water / wastewater treatment business in Florida to compliment the existing conveyance team.
- Function as the central point of coordination between clients, design teams, and stakeholders; maintaining strong relationships with clients
- Support business development activities including direct client interaction and engagement serving as project manager and / or technical subject matter expert for municipal water / wastewater treatment projects
- Actively lead and participate in project pursuit and delivery to create an exemplary client experience
- Lead, train, and mentor project teams through the planning and design of water and wastewater treatment projects
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering or related field from an ABET-accredited program required
- Professional Engineer (PE) registration in the state of employment or ability to be registered with reciprocity
- 10+ years of experience in water/wastewater collection, distribution, pumping systems, storage, treatment, and utility infrastructure design
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office required
- Adaptable and self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset as well as a proactive approach to problem solving
- Servant leader committed to fostering collaboration, innovation, and excellence while developing others
