We are currently seeking an organized, analytical, and proactive Business Analyst to support our operational tracking and strategic growth teams.
Position Summary:
As a Business Analyst, you will bridge the gap between our retail data metrics and corporate operations. You will extract and clean transaction histories, inventory logs, and performance data to design clean dashboards, track daily KPIs, and audit overall process efficiencies. The ideal candidate is highly organized, possesses strong technical analytical skills, and can communicate complex quantitative trends clearly to cross-functional leaders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Extract, organize, and analyze operational, product sales, and customer service datasets from multiple retail management systems.
- Design, maintain, and automate professional operational dashboards and performance indicator (KPI) logs using visualization software.
- Conduct thorough trend analyses, process mapping, and variance auditing to pinpoint cost-saving workflows and inventory optimizations.
- Partner directly with store management, logistics, and marketing teams to clean metric collection and align tracking strategies.
- Present data findings into clear, written narrative business memos and visual graphs for corporate leadership.
- Perform routine database hygiene checks to ensure the absolute integrity and compliance of centralized corporate records.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- 1–2+ years of professional experience as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, Operations Analyst, or in a highly quantitative corporate role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Data Science, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Advanced functions, Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) and basic familiarity with data organization.
- Experience utilizing data visualization software (such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar business intelligence tools) is a strong asset.
- Critical thinking capabilities, structured problem-solving skills, and high attention to metric detail.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and able to reliably commute to our Houston, TX (77002) corporate office.
