Job Overview
As a Business Analyst, you’ll turn business needs and data into clear insights that support better decisions. You’ll partner with stakeholders to define requirements, analyze processes, and develop reliable reports and dashboards. Duties
- Gather and document business and technical requirements; conduct requirements analysis and software development lifecycle (SDLC) analysis.
- Analyze data using SQL, Excel, R, Python, and other data analytics tools; manage queries across SQL databases.
- Support database design, data model design, extract, transform, and load (ETL) processes, and linked data initiatives.
- Build and maintain visualizations, reports, and dashboards using Tableau, Power BI, Looker, and related business intelligence tools.
- Collaborate on Agile projects, coordinate project management activities, and communicate findings through clear documentation and presentations.
Qualifications
- Essential: Business analysis, data analysis, and requirements analysis skills; strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
- Essential: Working knowledge of SQL and Excel data analysis, plus experience with data visualization, dashboard development, or reporting and dashboarding tools.
- Preferred: Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, Talend, database design, data model design, or query management.
- Preferred: Familiarity with VBA, Bash (Unix shell), Visio, linked data, analytics, and business intelligence.
- Technical proficiency with relevant tools and methods; ability to explain technical findings clearly to business and technical audiences.
Pay: $77,600.00 - $93,600.00 per year
