Cardinal Home Care Services Inc. is a Calgary based home care agency serving adults and seniors across Calgary, Airdrie, Okotoks, and Chestermere. Our certified Health Care Aides provide care across the full continuum - from companion care, personal care, and medication assistance through to Alzheimer's and dementia care, hospice, and palliative support. Every client is matched to a caregiver through an in-depth care assessment to ensure the right fit for their unique needs.
The Role
We are seeking an experienced Business Development and Outreach Liaison Manager to build and manage referral relationships that drive client acquisition across the Calgary market.
You will represent Cardinal Home Care Services at hospitals, physiotherapy clinics, physicians, social workers, discharge planners, PCNs, and assisted living facilities - creating consistent referral pipelines that connect families with the care they need.
This is a field-based, relationship-driven role. Success is measured by results.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and maintain referral relationships with healthcare providers and community organizations across Calgary
- Conduct regular in-person visits to targeted facilities on a structured outreach schedule
- Represent Cardinal Home Care Services professionally at community events, health fairs, and networking opportunities
- Follow up consistently with all referral contacts and track every visit, referral, and conversion outcome
- Report weekly on outreach activity, referrals received, client conversions, and pipeline status
- Collaborate with the care team to support seamless client onboarding
What We Are Looking For
- Demonstrated experience in community development, healthcare outreach, business development, or sales
- Knowledge of Alberta's continuing care network — AHS, PCNs, home care pathways, and community health organizations — is a significant advantage and will be prioritized
- Proven ability to build and maintain professional relationships independently
- Strong follow-up habits and results-oriented mindset
- Comfortable working in the field with minimal supervision
- Languages beyond English relevant to Calgary's diverse communities are an asset
Clinical experience is not required. Candidates from healthcare outreach, social services, pharmaceutical sales, community health, insurance, or consumer-facing relationship-driven industries are encouraged to apply.
