Job Summary:

Stevens Clyde Business Solutions Ltd. is seeking a Business Operations Planning Manager to shape operational plans that support changing business priorities, workloads, and service requirements. The role will bring together performance information, resource needs, and forward planning to help teams prepare effectively for upcoming business demands.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop operational plans based on business priorities and expected demand
  • Coordinate planning cycles across relevant teams and service areas
  • Review workloads and assess future resource requirements
  • Translate business objectives into practical operational actions
  • Monitor performance against plans and identify emerging gaps
  • Prepare forecasts covering capacity, activity, and operational needs
  • Work with managers to align resources with upcoming priorities
  • Evaluate operational trends and provide recommendations for future planning
  • Support contingency planning when business requirements change
  • Prepare planning reports and management updates
  • Refine planning processes to improve visibility and decision-making

Requirements:

  • Experience in operations planning, business operations, resource planning, management, business analysis, service delivery, or a related field
  • Strong planning and analytical abilities
  • Ability to work with operational information and business forecasts
  • Good communication and stakeholder coordination skills
  • Comfortable using spreadsheets, reporting tools, and general business systems
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities and changing requirements
  • Practical approach to business problem-solving and decision-making
  • Previous management experience is helpful, but strong planning or operational leadership experience will also be considered
  • Relevant qualifications are advantageous but not essential where suitable professional experience can be demonstrated

Pay: £62,000.00 per year
