Branch Manager – Max Milam Library (Perryville, AR) The Central Arkansas Library System (CALS) is seeking a dynamic and service-driven Branch Manager to lead the Max Milam Library, located at 609 Aplin Ave., Perryville, AR 72126.
Position Summary
The Branch Manager oversees all aspects of daily library operations and provides leadership that fosters excellent customer service, staff development, and strong community engagement. Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee daily branch operations
- Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate staff
- Develop staff schedules and ensure effective coverage

Required Qualifications
- Strong customer service orientation and enthusiasm for public service

Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Library Science (MLS) from an ALA-accredited program, progress toward an MLS, or a bachelor’s degree with at least three years of relevant experience and/or training
- Previous supervisory or management experience
