Business Analyst
Job type: Full-time, Permanent Working hours: 40 hours per week
About the role
We are looking for a motivated and analytical Business Analyst to join our growing team. You will work closely with management and other departments to analyse business operations, identify opportunities for improvement and help implement effective solutions.
This position would suit someone with a Master of Science in Management and a strong understanding of business strategy, finance, marketing, leadership and project management.
Key responsibilities
- Review and analyse existing business processes and working practices.
- Gather and document requirements from managers, employees, clients and other stakeholders.
- Analyse financial, operational and performance data.
- Identify business risks, inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
- Produce reports, presentations, process maps and business cases.
- Recommend solutions to improve efficiency, service quality and profitability.
- Support business-improvement and change-management projects.
- Monitor key performance indicators and evaluate the results of implemented changes.
- Assist management with strategic planning, budgeting and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with different departments to ensure business requirements are delivered.
- Maintain accurate records and provide regular progress updates.
Qualifications and experience
- Master of Science in Management, or a closely related postgraduate qualification.
- A strong understanding of business operations, strategy and project management.
- Experience in business analysis, operations, management or project support is desirable.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Experience with data-analysis or business-reporting tools would be an advantage.
