DATA CONVERSION ANALYST (PeopleSoft to Oracle Fusion)

Job Summary

The Data Conversion Analyst is responsible for supporting the migration of legacy data from PeopleSoft to Oracle Fusion Cloud by performing data extraction, cleansing, validation, transformation, and loading activities. The role works closely with business users, Master Data Management (MDM), functional teams, and implementation partners to ensure data quality and readiness throughout the conversion lifecycle.

This position plays a key role in preparing and validating conversion templates, managing FBDI (File-Based Data Import) files, conducting reconciliation activities, and supporting mock conversions, UAT, and go-live data migration.

Data Cleansing and Preparation

• Perform detailed review and cleansing of legacy PeopleSoft data to meet Oracle Fusion data standards.
• Identify duplicate, obsolete, incomplete, and inaccurate records and coordinate remediation with business stakeholders.
• Standardize master data attributes such as suppliers, items, PO, Invoice, and banks.

Data Mapping and Transformation

• Analyze legacy PeopleSoft data structures and map them to Oracle Fusion target fields.
• Document source-to-target mapping requirements.
• Validate transformation rules and ensure consistency with business and Oracle Fusion requirements.

FBDI and Conversion Template Management

• Prepare and maintain Oracle Fusion FBDI templates and other conversion templates.
• Populate conversion files using cleansed and transformed data.
• Validate data formats, mandatory fields, and reference values before loading.
• Troubleshoot FBDI upload errors and recommend corrective actions.

Data Validation and Reconciliation

• Conduct pre-load and post-load data validation activities.
• Perform record count reconciliation between PeopleSoft and Oracle Fusion.
• Validate data completeness, accuracy, and integrity after each mock conversion and production load.
• Investigate discrepancies and coordinate issue resolution with business and technical teams.

Testing and Deployment Support

• Participate in mock conversions, system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and go-live activities.
• Support end users in validating converted data.
• Log, monitor, and resolve data-related defects during testing cycles.

Documentation and Governance

• Maintain conversion documentation, mapping files, validation results, and issue logs.
• Ensure compliance with project governance and data quality standards.
• Track data readiness progress and provide regular status updates to project leadership.

Required Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Accounting, Supply Chain, or related field.

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in data migration, data management, or ERP implementation projects.
• Experience working with PeopleSoft data structures and Oracle Fusion Cloud applications.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle FBDI templates and data load processes.
• Experience in master data management activities including Supplier, Customer, Item, Finance, and HR data.

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel including advanced formulas, Pivot Tables, and data analysis.
• Experience with Oracle Fusion FBDI, ADFDI, or equivalent conversion tools.
• Understanding of SQL queries and data extraction processes.
• Experience working with large datasets and data quality tools.
• Familiarity with ERP modules such as Procurement, Financials, Inventory, Supplier Management, and HCM.

Functional Skills

• Ability to perform data reconciliation and root cause analysis.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Experience

• Previous involvement in Oracle Fusion Cloud implementation projects.
• Experience supporting global or multi-country deployments.
• Knowledge of Oracle Fusion Procurement, SCM, Financials, or HCM modules.
• Familiarity with data governance and master data management best practices.

Pay: Php42,000.00 - Php45,000.00 per month
