**Key Accountabilities**
* Lead the design, implementation, administration, and optimize enterprise network infrastructure (LAN/WAN, wireless, firewalls, VPN, SD\-WAN, cloud connectivity) * Senior\-level troubleshooting complex network issues and ensure high availability and performance * Develop and maintain network standards, architecture diagrams, configuration baselines, documentation, and operational procedures * Strengthen network security in partnership with cybersecurity teams * Plan and execute upgrades, changes, and lifecycle replacements using disciplined change management techniques. * Act as a technical lead and mentor, supporting vendors and internal teams
**Qualifications**
**Minimum**
* Degree in IT or related field (or equivalent experience) * 7\+ years in enterprise network design, operations, and support * Strong hands\-on experience with routing, switching, firewalls, VPN, SD\-WAN, and network monitoring * Experience with Arista data centre switching or comparable enterprise data centre networking platforms * Strong experience in multi\-location network architecture * Experience in network hardening * Experience with Cisco Meraki and Arista data centre switching or comparable enterprise data centre networking platforms * Working knowledge of cloud networking (Azure, AWS, hybrid environments) * Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills * Sound technical judgment and attention to detail * Clear communication with technical and non\-technical stakeholders * Collaborative, proactive, and continuous improvement mindset * Ability to participate in on\-call rotation, after\-hours support, planned maintenance windows, and incident response activities as required.
**Preferred**
* Professional certifications such as CCNP, CCNA, PCNSE, NSE, JNCIA, Azure Network Engineer Associate, or equivalent are preferred. * Experience in healthcare, pharmacy, multi\-site operations, or another highly regulated and availability\-sensitive environment. * Exposure to network automation, scripting, and modern network practices * Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks, zero trust concepts, privileged access management
**Location:** Please note that this role currently requires 1 day per week in the office at our 320 Bay Street location. Beginning January 2027, the office will relocate to Richmond Hill or Oakville with an expectation of 2 days per week onsite, increasing to 3 days per week as of June 2027\.
