**Key Responsibilities**

**1\. DevOps Strategy \& Execution**

* Drive enterprise adoption of CI/CD, Infrastructure\-as\-Code (IaC), and automation practices * Define and execute DevOps roadmap aligned with product and platform strategies * Lead architecture discussions for cloud\-native and microservices\-based solutions

**2\. Platform \& Cloud Engineering**

* Design and manage scalable cloud infrastructure across AWS/Azure environments * Oversee containerized deployments using Kubernetes/EKS/Docker * Ensure high availability, performance, and resilience of platform services

**3\. Leadership \& Team Management**

* Lead and mentor high\-performing DevOps/SRE teams * Establish clear accountability, roles, and delivery ownership * Foster a strong engineering culture focused on automation, quality, and innovation

**4\. Continuous Improvement \& Innovation**

* Evaluate and introduce new tools and technologies to optimize DevOps capabilities * Drive cost optimization (FinOps), automation, and efficiency improvements * Enable DevSecOps practices, embedding security into the delivery lifecycle

**6\. Cross\-Functional Collaboration**

* Partner with engineering, product, security, and operations teams * Ensure smooth release cycles, production readiness, and platform stability * Align DevOps capabilities with enterprise IT strategy and business goals

**Basic Qualifications**

* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field * 8\-12 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or SRE roles * 5\+ years of experience in leading DevOps or platform engineering teams

**Technical Skills \& Experience**

**Cloud \& Infrastructure**

* Strong experience with AWS and/or Microsoft Azure * Expertise in Infrastructure\-as\-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM)

**CI/CD \& Automation**

* Hands\-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub, Azure DevOps) * Automation using scripting (Python, Bash, Groovy)

**Containers \& Orchestration**

* Kubernetes, Docker, EKS (or equivalent) – mandatory experience

**Data \& Platform Ecosystem**

* Experience with databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB) * Microservices and cloud\-native architecture exposure

**Security \& Operations**

* DevSecOps practices and cloud security fundamentals * Monitoring, observability, and incident management frameworks

**Preferred Qualifications**

* AWS/Azure certifications * Experience with large\-scale enterprise platforms or digital products * Exposure to FinOps, AI Ops, or advanced automation frameworks

**Key Competencies**

* Strong leadership and stakeholder management * Strategic thinking with execution focus * Problem\-solving and decision\-making under pressure * Excellent communication and collaboration skills

**Success Metrics**

* CI/CD adoption and deployment frequency maturity * Platform availability, reliability (SLA/SLO adherence) * Reduction in MTTR and operational incidents * Cost optimization and automation coverage * Team productivity and delivery predictability
