Job Summary:
We're looking for a talented and versatile Mobile MultiSkilled Engineer to perform electrical and mechanical maintenance on a widerange of plant, equipment, and building services. If you have a strongbackground in manufacturing maintenance, electrical and mechanical competences,and a passion for problem-solving, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and manage risksassociated with equipment on site, including updating drawings, identifyingcritical spares, and improving equipment performance
Conduct fault-finding on alltypes of machinery, including electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
Provide electrical and mechanicalexpertise to the maintenance department, working on heavy industrial machinesand overhead cranes
Write and follow risk assessmentsand method statements, ensuring a safe and accurate working environment
Use mobile devices to accuratelyproject and complete works from the CAFM maintenance system
Liaise with onsite site servicesto manage building services-related issues
Deputise for the shift leaderduring annual leave or sickness
Work overtime as required,including nights and weekends
Requirements:
Recognised or time-servedapprenticeship in electrical or mechanical engineering
Strong proven experience inmanufacturing maintenance experience
Electrical competences to aminimum of City and Guilds 236 Pt 1-2 Electrical qualifications to 18th Edition
Mechanical competences to anacceptable standard to City and Guild's Mechanical
Good multi-skilled ability, withexperience working on 3-phase motors, drives, and inverters
Hydraulic and pneumaticexperience
Ability to fault-find anddiagnose PLC systems
NVQ qualifications to Level 2,Electrical and Mechanical
Ability to supervise contractorsand write risk and method statements
Desirable:
Working at height qualification
IPAF certification
AP qualifications
Experience of heavy engineering
