CBT Technology Institute is seeking an experienced Human Resources & Payroll Operations Manager to support the day-to-day administration of HR and payroll functions.

This role is ideal for a well-rounded HR professional who has experience working in a small or mid-sized organization and is comfortable handling multiple HR responsibilities, including payroll, benefits, employee relations, recruiting, compliance, and HR administration.

Responsibilities

  • Process and oversee payroll activities to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Support employee benefits administration, leaves of absence, and workers' compensation programs.
  • Coordinate recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and offboarding activities.
  • Assist with employee relations matters and performance management processes.
  • Maintain employee records and HR systems.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable employment laws and company policies.
  • Support training, employee communications, and engagement initiatives.
  • Prepare HR and payroll reports as needed.
  • Partner with managers and leadership to support workforce needs and operational goals.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Human Resources with exposure to multiple HR functions.
  • Payroll administration experience required.
  • Experience with recruiting, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • HRIS and payroll system experience required.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification preferred.
  • Experience supporting multi-location operations preferred.
  • Experience in education, career colleges, workforce development, or service-oriented organizations preferred.

Pay: From $65,000.00 per year
