EPLAN Design Engineer
**Location:** Chennai, India **Experience:** 1–6 Years **Employment Type:** Full\-Time
Role \& Responsibilities
* Create and maintain electrical schematics using **EPLAN Electric P8**. * Design control panels, MCC panels, and automation system electrical drawings. * Prepare single\-line diagrams, multi\-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, terminal plans, cable schedules, and BOMs. * Generate reports and manufacturing documents from EPLAN. * Develop and maintain EPLAN macros, templates, and design standards. * Coordinate with automation engineers for PLC I/O allocation and control system design. * Review customer specifications and ensure compliance with project requirements. * Support panel builders and commissioning teams by resolving design\-related issues. * Participate in design reviews and ensure quality and consistency of deliverables. * Prepare technical documentation and project reports.
Preferred Candidate Profile
* 1–6 years of experience in electrical design and automation projects. * Strong hands\-on experience with **EPLAN Electric P8**. * Good understanding of industrial control panels and electrical systems. * Experience in preparing: * Electrical Schematics * Control Panel Layouts * Terminal Diagrams * Cable Schedules * Bill of Materials (BOM) * Knowledge of PLC\-based control systems and industrial automation. * Familiarity with Siemens, Allen\-Bradley, Schneider, or similar automation platforms is an advantage. * Ability to interpret customer specifications and international standards. * Good communication and problem\-solving skills. * Immediate joiners or candidates with up to 30 days notice period preferred.

* Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in: * Electrical \& Electronics Engineering (EEE) * Electronics \& Instrumentation (E\&I) * Instrumentation \& Control Engineering * Mechatronics Engineering
