Central CCTV Limited is looking for an experienced Multi-Disciplined Security Engineer to join our growing team, covering London and the surrounding areas.
We are looking for a skilled, reliable and motivated engineer who has strong experience across multiple electronic security disciplines and takes pride in delivering high-quality work.
This role is ideal for an experienced engineer who is confident working independently, solving technical problems and delivering professional installations, servicing and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation, commissioning, servicing and maintenance of IP CCTV systems.
- Installation and programming of Access Control systems.
- Installation, servicing and fault-finding of Intruder Alarm systems, working to relevant SSAIB / NSI standards.
- Installation and maintenance of Intercom and Door Entry systems.
- Fault diagnosis, technical support and repairs across multiple security disciplines.
- Configuration and troubleshooting of IP networks and network-connected security equipment.
- Completing relevant installation, service and compliance documentation.
- Delivering neat, professional and compliant installations.
- Providing excellent customer service across domestic and commercial sites.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Multi-Disciplined Security Engineer.
- Strong technical knowledge of IP CCTV, Access Control, Intruder Alarms and Intercom systems.
- Experience working to relevant SSAIB / NSI requirements and British Standards.
- Confident in installation, commissioning, servicing and fault-finding.
- Good understanding of IP networking, PoE, switches and remote connectivity.
- Able to work independently and efficiently manage daily workloads.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Professional appearance, positive attitude and good customer communication skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
Desirable (But Not Essential)
- Experience with Fire Alarm systems, including installation, servicing or maintenance.
- Experience with integrated security solutions.
- Relevant industry qualifications and manufacturer training.
Fire alarm experience is beneficial but not essential. We are primarily looking for an engineer who is genuinely experienced across the main electronic security disciplines.
