About the Role:

The Senior Business Intelligence Analyst plays a key role in transforming enterprise data into reliable, actionable information that supports decision-making, efficiency, and long-term strategy. This position combines advanced business intelligence development with technical ownership of enterprise reporting platforms, relational data structures, and data integration solutions.

This role works closely with department leaders, data stakeholders, developers, and technical teams to establish scalable, governed data solutions. The Senior Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for the continued development and stewardship of enterprise reporting infrastructure, Power BI, enterprise relational databases, and the data pipelines that connect critical business systems.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise BI solutions, including reports, dashboards, semantic models, and visualization tools that support business and leadership decision-making.
  • Own the enterprise reporting infrastructure, including Power BI workspaces, semantic models, dataflows, gateways, deployment standards, access architecture, and reporting governance.
  • Own the enterprise relational database infrastructure used for analytics and business applications, establishing data-modeling, schema-design, integration, and development standards for enterprise RDBMS platforms.
  • Serve as a developmental DBA by designing and maintaining schemas, tables, views, stored procedures, functions, indexes, and other database objects; analyze query plans and tune SQL and database structures for reliability and performance.
  • Design, contribute to, and manage enterprise data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes across ERP, manufacturing, business applications, APIs, and cloud data sources, including scheduling, monitoring, error handling, and data lineage.
  • Gather, analyze, and interpret business requirements and translate them into scalable data, reporting, and integration solutions.
  • Develop and optimize data models, queries, semantic layers, and datasets to ensure reliable performance, maintainability, and reuse across the enterprise.
  • Establish and maintain enterprise reporting and data architecture standards, including governed sources of truth, standardized definitions, and consistent reporting structures.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, integrity, and appropriate access across reporting platforms, databases, and integrated data sources.
  • Collaborate with developers, vendors, and internal stakeholders on APIs, Azure, Power Automate, Power BI, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and other cloud and relational data technologies.
  • Maintain technical documentation and data-governance standards aligned with CMMC/ISO 27001 controls, including data access, lineage, change management, and reporting governance.
  • Provide platform guidance and training for report developers and business users, and identify data technologies, automation opportunities, and architectural improvements that advance enterprise analytics maturity.

We would love to hear from you if:

You have a strong analytical and technical mindset and enjoy turning complex data into durable enterprise solutions.
