About us
CF Fire Doors is a growing London fire safety company specialising in fire door installation, maintenance, inspections and fire stopping. Our team holds BM TRADA qualifications in Fire Door Installation, Fire Door Maintenance and Fire Stopping. We work with property managers, contractors and residential and commercial clients, and we're looking for someone to take ownership of our pricing and drive our growth.
The role
This is a combined role. You'll be responsible for pricing and quoting our work, and for winning new clients to grow the business. You'll work closely with our Managing Director and surveyor, taking over day-to-day quoting and building long-term relationships with organisations that manage multiple buildings.
Key responsibilities
Estimating
- Price and quote all incoming enquiries: fire door sets, remedials, inspections and fire stopping
- Produce accurate quotes from survey information, site visits and client requirements
- Use and help maintain our price book, keeping material and labour costs up to date
- Follow up every quote and convert enquiries into booked work
Business development
- Identify and win new clients: managing agents, block management companies, housing associations, facilities management companies and contractors
- Arrange meetings and site visits, and present CF Fire Doors' services
- Build and manage a pipeline of opportunities, and report on progress weekly
- Look after new accounts and grow the work they give us
Requirements
- Experience in estimating, quoting or sales, ideally in construction, fire safety, facilities management or property
- Confidence pricing bespoke work accurately
- A track record of winning and keeping business clients
- Organised and self-motivated, with the drive to hit targets
- A full UK driving licence
- Knowledge of fire doors or passive fire protection is a strong advantage, and full training is provided

- A base salary of £30,000–£35,000, depending on experience
- Commission on business growth you deliver, with on-target earnings of £42,000–£48,000
