CGI is seeking a Senior Business Analyst / Scrum Master to serve as both a strategic business partner and an Agile delivery leader, supporting complex enterprise IT initiatives from discovery through implementation.
This role combines advanced business analysis expertise with servant leadership, ensuring business needs are translated into effective technology solutions while facilitating Agile delivery practices that maximize team performance and business value.
The ideal candidate brings strong experience in requirements management, stakeholder engagement, process optimization, Agile coaching, and team facilitation. They demonstrate strategic thinking, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to build effective collaboration between business and technology teams while delivering measurable business outcomes.
Your future duties and responsibilities
- Lead requirements elicitation, analysis, documentation, and validation for complex IT initiatives, including system integrations, migrations, and modernization projects.
- Translate business needs into clear functional and technical requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and supporting documentation.
- Analyze, design, and optimize business processes using technology solutions to improve operational efficiency and business outcomes.
- Facilitate stakeholder workshops, requirements sessions, and decision-making discussions, building alignment between business and technology stakeholders.
- Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), validate solution outcomes, manage requirements-related issues, and collaborate with technical teams to address defects and support successful implementation.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, and Backlog Refinement.
- Promote Scrum principles and servant leadership while coaching teams on accountability, collaboration, Agile practices, and continuous improvement.
- Proactively identify, track, and help resolve impediments, risks, dependencies, and organizational obstacles that may affect delivery.
- Implement and analyze Agile metrics to assess team performance, delivery predictability, continuous improvement opportunities, and business value realization.
- Partner with business and technology leaders to align priorities and delivery plans with strategic objectives while supporting Agile transformation and organizational change initiatives.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- 6+ years of progressive experience in Business Analysis, Scrum Master, Agile Delivery, or related roles supporting enterprise IT initiatives.
- Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification.
- Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks, business analysis methodologies, requirements management practices, and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Demonstrated experience eliciting and managing complex requirements, developing user stories and acceptance criteria, facilitating stakeholder discussions, and supporting UAT.
- Strong understanding of IT systems, application architectures, system integrations, and data flows.
- Experience working with enterprise platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, or comparable enterprise systems.
- Experience with enterprise Agile management tools, Agile metrics and reporting, delivery governance, and workflow optimization.
- Advanced facilitation, coaching, stakeholder management, communication, and conflict-resolution skills, with the ability to effectively engage technical teams, product owners, business stakeholders, and executive leadership.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, financial acumen, and experience applying data-driven decision-making to complex business and delivery challenges.
Assets
- Master's degree in a relevant discipline.
- Advanced Agile certification such as PSM II, SAFe Agilist, SAFe Scrum Master, or equivalent.
- Advanced business analysis certification such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, or equivalent.
- Experience mentoring junior Business Analysts and Scrum Masters.
- Experience supporting enterprise Agile transformation and organizational change initiatives.
- Demonstrated experience driving continuous improvement initiatives and measuring resulting business, operational, or financial benefits.

CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case.
