Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Project Engineering Manager to lead our engineering projects from conception through completion. This pivotal role involves overseeing project planning, scheduling, cost management, overseeing engineering calculations, technical designs, product documentation, and project execution. The ideal candidate will bring extensive project management experience, exceptional leadership skills, and proficiency with industry-standard project management software to drive successful project outcomes. The Engineering Manager partners closely with Sales, Manufacturing, Quality, and Research & Development to deliver innovative, high-quality solutions that meet customer requirements and support operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Provide engineering leadership to CAD Designers and cross-functional teams supporting customer projects and manufacturing operations
- Develop engineering calculations, technical designs, and supporting documentation for stormwater treatment devices and engineered systems
- Prepare and review drawings, specifications, and submittal packages for customer review and manufacturing.
- Support specification development and manufacturing efforts by providing technical guidance and resolving engineering-related issues
- Partner with Quality Control to ensure products meet engineering requirements and company quality standards
- Lead and support product improvement, cost reduction, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with Sales, Manufacturing, R&D, to support projects from proposal through production to successful startup of equipment.
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Manage contracts, change orders, and procurement processes through Sage Accounting Software, Meridian, Inventor, or other construction management platforms
- Facilitate effective communication between clients, contractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure seamless project coordination
- Monitor project progress through site visits and oversee construction schedule coordination to resolve any delays or issues promptlySkills
- Lead and manage multiple complex infrastructure projects, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related engineering discipline
- Demonstrated engineering leadership experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or engineered products environment
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and applicable design codes
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, Microsoft Office, and related engineering software
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with customers, engineers, designers, manufacturing personnel, and project teams
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines
- Strong knowledge of infrastructure projects
- Proven ability to manage teams in a construction management role with excellent leadership skills
- Hands-on construction site experience with a solid understanding of heavy civil or infrastructure projects
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in fast-paced environments.
- Skilled in cost management, project scheduling, contract administration, and project leadership
Pay: $90,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
