About The Role
We are looking for a Data Analyst who can work across multiple software systems, business functions, and data sources to transform complex datasets into meaningful business insights. The role goes beyond routine reporting and dashboard creation, requiring the ability to understand business problems, organize and validate data, identify trends, and translate analysis into actionable recommendations.
The candidate will work closely with teams across Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance and other functions to support data-driven decision-making, improve business visibility, and identify opportunities for growth and operational improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Analysis & Business Insights: Work with data from multiple software platforms, ERP systems, and business functions to identify trends, gaps, and growth opportunities. Translate analysis into actionable insights and recommendations.
- Business Intelligence & Visualization: Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations, ensuring reports are designed to support business decisions rather than simply display data. Present insights clearly to relevant stakeholders – daily, weekly, monthly, as required.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance and other teams to understand and support cross-functional projects.
- Reporting & Automation: Prepare management reports and KPI analysis while identifying opportunities to automate recurring reporting and data processes, while maintaining proper documentation. Explore analytical and AI tools to improve reporting efficiency and productivity.
- Ensure accuracy: Consistency, and timely availability of business data.
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis: Prepare reports/presentations as required.
Candidate Profile
· Experience: 5+ years working with large datasets and cross-functional business teams.
· Industry: Experience in FMCG, Food & Beverage, Consumer Products, Retail, or other fast-paced businesses preferred.
· Technical Must-Haves: Advanced Excel and Power BI.
· Additional Skills: SQL, Python, ERP systems, business intelligence/reporting tools, data visualization, and management reporting experience are preferred.
· Bonus: Exposure to automation, analytical tools, and AI tools for data analysis, reporting, and productivity.
· Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
· Proven experience in data visualization and management reporting.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Commerce, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- MBA / PGDM in Business Analytics, Finance, Marketing, or a related discipline will be an advantage.
